Amazing Dominican food. Beef guisado is top tier. Rice and beans are really good as well. Neighborhood is sketch but that's usually where you find good food.
This little family owned restaurant cooks some of the best authentic Dominican food around. I've ordered food from here a couple of times and it's always fresh, hot and delicious. The restaurant is small and does offer a dine in option. They have a few tables, but a lot of their business is pick up. The owner and her family are always so friendly and helpful. This time we ordered a few dinners and they came with sides of green salad, white rice and your choice of red or black beans. We ordered: -rabo guisado - braised oxtail -roasted chicken -chicharron - fried pork chunks -cheese empanadas -maduros - fried sweet plantains -macaroni salad This place offers delicious traditional Dominican food at a very reasonable price and is definitely worth a visit.
Came here off of a recommendation, I ordered chicken stew and ox tails. Rice beans and white rice. The chicken stew was really good . However the ox tails were meh, I feel they could've been seasoned better and I should've gotten more than three pieces. I'll definitely be back to try the other options.

A very nice, clean business with reasonable staff. Price decent. Very cultural ambiance with spanish music and spanish stationed TV. Atm machine for people who need cash. Authentic food with homemade drinks, I felt like I was back home at DR. I will definitely come back.

I love this restaurant because I can get real dominican food so close to campus. They play dominican music and it makes me feel at home. I usually order the mangu with tres golpes and a morir soñando for a total of $13 which is not bad. They recently started serving Honduran food which I would highly recommend. The waitresses are mostly Dominican/Latinx. One thing I would change is that they don't give you a receipt, they kind of just tell you what the price is and that's that. Also sometimes when you pay with card the waitress tells you the card machine isn't working but that's only because they prefer cash. Paying with a card is also a dollar extra. We're human and people make mistakes, having an actual receipt would make customers feel a lot better and keep things organized.
